The supplier is Steven Gibson Ltd trading as Steven Gibson Ltd, based at 96 Argyll Street, Dunoon, Argyll, United Kingdom, PA23 7NE. Any complaints by the customer in respect of any transaction with the suppliers should be addressed hereto.
Steven Gibson Limited trading as Steven Gibson Ltd and hereafter referred to as Steven Gibson Ltd accepts VISA, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Switch and Bankers Cheques. We are now able to accept your credit card details by e-mail over the Internet using a secure payment system, or you can place your order over the phone (tel: 01369-702147), by fax (01369-706627), or forward a cheque for the full amount. If you wish, we can contact you by telephone to collect your credit card details.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

Supply of Goods:
It may be, that due to circumstances beyond our control, Steven Gibson Ltd are not able to guarantee the supply of goods. The acknowledgment generated to a customer at the time an order is placed is confirmation only of the details given by the customer and is not an acceptance of the order. Prices may change at any time or goods may not currently be available. Should this be the case Steven Gibson Ltd will contact the customer by e-mail, fax or telephone within 5 working days to appraise them of the situation.
An order placed on the website will be construed as an offer to purchase from the customer to the supplier and will be acknowledged as received through an order acknowledgement sent to your e-mail address. Acceptance of payment by the supplier constitutes acceptance of the order by the supplier. If there are any problems with your order then you will be contacted directly. The price of the goods shown by the supplier will only remain valid until such times as it is periodically reviewed by the supplier in its own unlimited discretion, bad faith only excepted, or until payment has been received from the customer, or whichever is earlier.
Quality of Goods/Fitness for Purpose:
Steven Gibson Ltd makes every effort to ensure that products advertised on the site are of a high quality. In the event that goods received are found not to be of satisfactory quality or fit for the purpose described by the manufacturers they may be returned and a replacement (if requested and available) will be sent otherwise we will refund your monies in full. All the details, dimensions and usage of the products shown on the web site have been supplied to Steven Gibson Ltd by the manufacturers/suppliers. Please note that weights are approximate and may vary according to the packaging used.
Returns Procedures and refunds:
The terms of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 apply and a customer is thereby entitled to cancel goods ordered and/or arrange return of the goods delivered up to and within 7 days after receipt of said goods.
This does not include goods that have been specifically made or altered to suit the customer’s own requirements.
Notice of cancellation must be given in writing within said period of 7 days. Steven Gibson Ltd will accept this notice by fax or e-mail. A telephone message does not qualify as a proper notice.
In the event of cancellation by the customer, the customer would require to return the goods to the supplier.
It is the customer's own responsibility to ensure the goods safe keeping and retention of quality and if goods are returned that are not either faulty or wrongly despatched but simply returned as not required, then it is the customer's responsibility to arrange this at the customer's own expense.
Steven Gibson Ltd is entitled to levy a return charge to cover the administration and re-packaging of said items at a cost of 30% + VAT of the retail price.
Where goods become faulty within the manufacturer's period of guarantee, and the fault is not due to mishandling by the user, action will be taken to repair or replace the item in accordance with that manufacturers warranty. Goods to be returned after the 7 day period above or those that are not faulty, can only be done so with the agreement of Steven Gibson Ltd who reserve the right, in all cases, to make a re-stocking charge of 30% + VAT. This in no way affects your statutory rights
Steven Gibson Ltd offers delivery within 7 working days on all Stock items using our own transport within our normal operating area after payment has been received. Personal cheques may take upto 5 working days to clear while credit or debit card payments take less than 24 hours. In the event of goods ordered by the customer not being available within 7 working days from payment, the supplier will advise the customer of such unavailability within that said period and will reimburse any sums paid by the customer unless the customer and supplier agree otherwise by communications by fax or e-mail.
All our store prices are VAT inclusive. A VAT invoice will be forwarded to you with your delivery. When you enter the cashier section of the site you will be presented with an order confirmation that breaks down the gross amount into separate net and vat amounts. This is for the benefit of our VAT registered business clients to facilitate VAT claims.
Delivery Methods & Charges:
All UK Destinations.
At present, Steven Gibson Ltd does not charge for packing and postage is minimal but Steven Gibson Ltd does not, at present, offer World Wide delivery.
Loss or damage:
If goods are found to have been damaged in transit then they may be returned and a replacement, if requested and if available, will be despatched. If no replacement is available then monies will be refunded in full by Steven Gibson Ltd must be informed within 7 days of receipt by either e-mail or by telephone on 01369-702147 with confirmation in writing thereafter. It is in your own interests to check the delivery immediately and notify Steven Gibson Ltd of any problems.
Data Protection Act:
The information requested on this site may be used by Steven Gibson Ltd to confirm, update and enhance our customer records. Information may also be disclosed and used for fraud detection purposes. In terms of the Data Protection Act you are entitled to a copy of all your personal data held by us on computer on payment of a small fee.
Title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid for in full. The responsibility and risk in the Goods shall pass to the buyer at the point of delivery and Steven Gibson Ltd shall have no responsibility in respect of the safety of the goods thereafter.
Security of Credit Card Payment Options:
If you wish to pay by debit or credit card, simply state this when you place an order. We are able to accept payment by credit card using our secure e-mail facility
All contracts by Steven Gibson Ltd for the sale of the goods shall be deemed in all respects to be contracts made, performed and contracted according to Scottish Law.
